The Moss Park Coalition aims to ensure current residents benefit economically and have a significant role in shaping their neighborhood's future. In 2024, we're launching a Community Consultation to prioritize public and private developments that meet residents' needs.

In 2021 Moss Park residents, community organizations, and service providers came together to form the Moss Park Coalition to advocate for a Community Benefits Agreement related to Moss Park Station and the Ontario Line subway project. This project will have a major impact on the community. The Ontario Line is one of the largest infrastructure investments in the history of the province and will attract further investment and development in the area. Empower Moss Park aims to make sure that current Moss Park residents are included in both the economic benefits of this investment and to take an active role in how the neighbourhood is shaped.  

In 2024 the Moss Park Coalition will begin a Community Consultation process to understand what the community’s priorities in public and private developments and how we can make sure that the future of the neighbourhood is centred around the needs of the current residents. 

We hope that this project this project will help to bring together the local community to work towards common goals and to build an organization that will have a long-term impact on residents confidence and ability to shape how the neighbourhood grows.
